Day One from Bloom Built – journaling apps

I have been looking for a journaling app for a few months now; I think I found the one I will use. Day One from Bloom Built, LLC. It supports Dropbox syncing and has an impressive future feature list, Markdown, iCloud and password support to name a few. Day One (iPhone/iPad) and Day One (Mac)

Every Purchase Is a Trade-Off

Here’s the thing: Every purchase is a trade-off. Maybe it’s more obvious with discretionary expenses, such as books and gym memberships and cable television. But you’re making trade-offs even when you buy the things you need. When you buy food for your family, you’re giving up other things you might really want, like new furniture or a car repair. And if you choose to go into debt, you’re trading your future income in order to have the things you want today.

Music Monday – Eels – Hombre Lobo

IMO the best Eels album to date.

A few highlights:
My Timing is Off – This song was on repeat the week I met my wife. At the time it felt like I meet the right person at the wrong time, as it turns out my timing was spot on.

Ordinary Man – Kind of a theme of mine “…And I’m here on my own; I’d rather be alone; Than try to be someone that I’m not..”

What’s a Fella Gotta Do – great high energy song, I think we have all had someone you wanted to spend time with who would not give you the time of day.

I’m looking forward to seeing them again Friday, August 5 • DOORS @ 7PM – Turner Hall Ballroom.
